Research project
Facilitating collaborative discussion on food futures using a tangible toolkit
A research project that explores the use of a toolkit as a tool to critically reflect on food futures and make this discussion more tangible. The results of using the toolkit were collected through using a combination of the controlled- and naturalistic observation techniques (Mcleod, z.d.). The toolkit encourages people to talk and create discussion about food futures. Through this design probe, we aim to enable reflection on a set of social, ethical, cultural, environmental and political issues surrounding food futures. Results show a potential for the use of tangible discussion toolkits to discuss futuristic and imaginary concepts.
