Effectiveness of artificial intelligence in enhancing and expediting the design process
The ubiquitous application of AI in various domains is revolutionizing the world, including the design industry. This study aims to investigate whether the integration of AI in the ideation phase could yield desirable outcomes comparable to those produced by human designers. To evaluate this research question, a survey was conducted comparing logos designed using AI with those created exclusively by human designers. Fifteen pairs of logos were evaluated based on semantic differential terms. The results offer insights into the effectiveness and quality of using AI in the design process, as well as the possibility of AI rendering human designers obsolete in the future.
