Flexo bed has been designed to make standing up and sitting down much easier for the elderly and those who may suffer from disabilities. The goal of this project was to produce a bed with a reasonable price, yet aesthetically superior.
The project began with extensive research on user needs and existing solutions. Following brainstorming sessions and ideation, I created paper sketches, defined the overall package and precise anthropometric dimensions, and later developed CAD models using Rhino software. Once I finalized the design, it was handed over to the mechanical team to complete the rotational mechanism.
